Studio History
In 1984, Mark and Dawna Nocera took their first steps of business owners and opened up their own dance studio, Studio 665. The studio was located in Malden, Massachusetts. While the Noceras developed their dance careers in both Latin and Ballroom styles, they were able to manage their hectic schedules, spending one month in England and the next in Massachusetts, running their fledgling studio and competing every chance they got.
After ten years of competition, things began winding down competitively for Mark and Dawna. Their busy teaching and coaching responsibilities at Studio 665, along with judging competitions and coaching college dance teams, left them little time for the extensive travel required of professional competitors, and they retired from professional competition in 1994. They completely refocused their energies on helping their students achieve the same level of success that they themselves achieved.
In 2003, Studio 665 moved to a new home, with more space and two dance floors. Currenly, the studio is located in Woburn, Massachusetts.
Recently Studio 665 and the staff shared many televised moments - Dancing Tweens on TLC, Holiday Lights on Channel 5's Chronicle and Made on MTV.
