Studio 665 Instructor is a "Made" Coach
Woburn, MA -- August 11, 2006 -- Marcus Arieta, a popular Instructor at Woburn’s Studio 665, has been selected to be a coach on MTV’s television series “Made”. Arieta is a seasoned professional dancer who regularly appears with his students in Ballroom and Latin Pro-Am competitions throughout the United States.
Arieta joins other notable past coaches such as Dave Mirra, a professional BMX rider, Percy Daggs III, an actor, Kurt Angle, a wrestler, Snoop Dogg, a rapper, record producer, and actor, The Game, a rapper, Shoshana Bean, an actress and singer, Seth Rudetsky, a comedy writer, Rob Younkers, a Fashion Designer, Eddie George, a professional football player, and Paul Wharton, a fashion authority.
MTV’s “Made” is especially popular with viewers under the age of 20. The series follows a teen seeking self-improvement. “Made” documents the process that they undergo as they try to achieve their goal. The goals of previous teens included cheerleader, boyfriend material, model, BMX racer, opera singer, triathlete, hip hop dancer, wrestler, figure skater, and comedian.
Studio 665 was the winner of the 2006-2007 Top Studio Award presented at the recent Yankee Classic New England Championship Dance Competition held last month in Cambridge, MA. Studio 665 was opened in 1984 in Malden by Mark and Dawna Nocera, U.S. Representatives to the World Professional Dance Championships and World Class Adjudicators. Today, Studio 665 is located in Woburn at 17 Campbell Street. Studio 665 has two of the largest dance floors in the Greater Boston area – one is 1,300 square feet and the other is 2,200 square feet.
